Full Job Description

ACP Connections is looking for a strong Licensing Specialist. This is amazing opportunity with a large well-known company in Phoenix. Must have two years working with licenses and permits. Must be local in Phoenix and the role is onsite 4 days a week 1 day remote! This is a contract role but could turn into a permanent position!

Licensing Specialist Job Description:

The Licensing Specialist will act as a liaison to and partner with our third-party vendor in the preparation and management of all required licensing and permitting, including renewals, for all locations to achieve and maintain compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations, and industry standards. This position will be based out of our Phoenix, Arizona office.

Licensing Specialist Main responsibilities:

Works with existing licensing team, and all divisions and departments to handle the licensing processes for new locations, renewals for existing locations and handles requests for licenses from internal parties.
Grows and maintains strong working knowledge and database for each state's licensing requirements, restrictions or limitations. Requires ability to use judgement to answer questions on licensing, gather information/fact finding on issues related to licensing and permitting and working with a team to handle requests related to licensing.
Obtains all necessary signatures, data, documentation, etc. to get all necessary paperwork completed in partnership with third-party vendor.
Maintains active relationships with partners to ensure quick access and turn around for necessary information.
Handles company information with appropriate sensitivity and safeguards to ensure confidentiality and right to privacy, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
All other duties as assigned.

Licensing Specialist Requirements:

Minimum of (2) years' experience in regulatory/license maintenance or comparable experience in licensing processes.
Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
Ability to record, maintain, organize and present documentation to diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with proven record of confidentiality and discretion with critical information.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to work with a team.
Ability to communicate with team members and external parties about workflow.
Sound decision maker and strong work ethic.
Experience dealing with government employees and agencies preferred.

Pay: $26.00 per hour
