Develop and implement innovative strategies to optimize staffing, productivity, and adherence to healthcare standards and regulations.
Foster professional growth through comprehensive training programs, mentorship, and skill development to enhance team capabilities and morale.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration and continuity in patient care delivery.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Manage recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Oversee department budgeting and resource allocation to effectively meet operational and patient care needs.
Monitor patient acuity and staffing levels, ensuring optimal care standards are consistently achieved.
Investigate patient complaints and incidents, implementing solutions to enhance care quality and safety.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and policies, maintaining accreditation and operational integrity.
Develop and implement unit-specific standards of care and measurable patient outcomes.
Promote interdisciplinary collaboration to achieve patient care goals and operational efficiency.
Design and evaluate educational programs to support staff development and professional growth.
Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and department performance.

Job Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, with a strong foundation in clinical and leadership skills.
Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including leadership roles in surgical services.
Current RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory.
Proven expertise in managing budgets, staffing plans, and operational strategies effectively.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaboration and team development.
Experience in high-volume operating room settings preferred, with a focus on leadership and efficiency.
