Join a well-established Consumer Direct branch in Scottsdale, Arizona, where you'll have the opportunity to build on an existing foundation, develop a high-performing team, and help drive continued branch growth and success. This could be the right next step for an experienced mortgage sales leader who has contributed to a team’s success and is ready for greater ownership, influence, and responsibility.

This is a dedicated leadership position focused on the success of the branch rather than carrying a personal origination book.

Qualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus based on experience, production history, licensing status, and overall qualifications.

Position Overview:

The Consumer Direct Branch Manager is responsible for leading branch performance, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring the efficient movement of loans through the pipeline. This role drives production results by coaching, developing, and holding loan originators accountable to performance expectations while supporting the borrower’s experience. This role partners closely with sales and operations teams to remove obstacles, improve execution, and achieve branch objectives. Rather than building a branch from the ground up, the Consumer Direct Branch Manager will step into an established consumer direct operation with active lead flow, proven processes, company resources, and a team positioned for its next stage of growth.

Job Responsibilities:

· Oversee the branch’s active pipeline and help ensure loans continue moving forward efficiently.

· Lead the day-to-day operations of the office and handle branch needs as they arise.

· Coach, train, and develop loan originators to improve execution, consistency, and production.

· Support recruiting efforts and help identify qualified candidates who align with the branch's business objectives and long-term goals.

· Maintain clear expectations and accountability across the sales team.

· Partner closely with sales and operations teams to resolve issues, remove obstacles, and protect the borrower’s experience.

· Identify emerging talent and help develop future leaders within the branch.

· Monitor overall branch performance and help turn active lead flow into stronger conversion and production.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Management, or a related field, preferred.

· 5+ years of mortgage lending experience, with a background in consumer direct lending.

· 2+ years of leadership or management experience overseeing loan originators, sales teams, or branch operations.

· Experience managing branch performance, pipeline management, and operational efficiencies.

· Familiarity with mortgage technology platforms, CRM systems, LOS systems, and sales performance reporting tools.

· Advanced understanding of the loan origination process from application through closing.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Skilled at motivating, coaching, and developing sales teams to achieve and exceed production goals.
