Full Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Marketing Manager who combines broad, cross-channel marketing experience with strong hands-on execution expertise. This role will help develop and execute end-to-end marketing programs for key partners and customer audiences, with a particular focus on creating relevant, personalized experiences throughout the customer journey. You’ll develop campaigns, build nurture and lifecycle journeys, define customer segments, create compelling content and offers, and use performance insights to continually improve results.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute email and SMS marketing programs, including promotional campaigns nurture series, onboarding communications, triggered campaigns and other lifecycle initiatives
Map customer journeys and identify opportunities to engage prospects and customers at key moments throughout the funnel and lifecycle
Develop audience segments using customer attributes, engagement, behaviors and lifecycle stages to deliver relevant communications
Create personalization strategies that tailor messaging, content and offers to different audiences
Manage campaign calendars and deployment schedules across marketing channels
Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across email, SMS, direct mail, landing pages, social media and other customer touchpoints from concept through launch, coordinating timelines, deliverables, approvals and dependencies to ensure work is completed accurately and on time
Translate business and partner objectives into actionable marketing strategies, campaign concepts, messaging and deliverables
Develop and manage promotional offers, including offer positioning, customer communications and coordination of offer fulfillment and redemption
Write compelling, on-brand copy for email campaigns, nurture series, landing pages, direct mail, video, SMS, social media, FAQs, sales materials and other marketing communications
Create campaign briefs and provide clear direction to creative partners
Handle simple content and design needs when appropriate and collaborate with designers on more complex creative
Adapt messaging for different customer segments and channels
Build productive relationships with external partners and participate confidently in partner meetings, presentations and in-person discussions
Work closely with internal teams including Creative, Product, Analytics, Project Management and Legal Teams to deliver cohesive, effective campaigns
Collaborate partners to develop and execute offers, campaigns and nurture series
Develop and refine value propositions and messaging for brands, products, offers and audiences
Contribute to strategy sessions, brainstorms, campaign reviews and partner presentations
Develop and execute A/B tests across subject lines, messaging, creative, calls-to-action, audience segments, offers, timing and other campaign variables
Monitor and report on email and overall campaign performance using relevant KPIs
Analyze tests and campaigns and recommend actionable optimizations
Clearly communicate campaign results, learnings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and partners

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline
5+ years of relevant marketing experience with hands-on ownership of customer-facing campaigns
Strong experience developing and executing email marketing campaigns and automated customer journeys, from strategy and segmentation through content development launch and reporting
Experience with customer segmentation, personalization and behavior-based
Experience mapping customer journeys and developing nurture, engagement or lifecycle campaigns
Experience working across multiple marketing channels, with an understanding of how email, SMS, web, social, paid media and other touchpoints work together
Excellent copywriting and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging across channels and audiences
Experience developing and evaluating marketing offers and promotions
Experience developing A/B tests and analyzing campaign performance to identify best practices and opportunities
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to take ownership and deliver high-quality work on time
Comfortable collaborating directly with external partners as well as cross-functional internal teams
Must successfully complete and clear the company’s comprehensive background screening process as a condition of employment

Preferred:

Experience with subscription, membership, loyalty or retention marketing
Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM platforms (i.e., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Marketo)
Familiarity with design tools (i.e., Figma, Canva)
Familiarity with web analytics and campaign reporting tools
Working knowledge of social media, paid media and digital marketing fundamentals
