As we continue to expand across Arizona, we are seeking an Admissions Coordinator who is motivated, mission-driven, and ready to make a meaningful impact. This opportunity is located in our lovely office in beautiful Gainey Ranch, Scottsdale, just steps away from excellent shopping, dining, and local amenities.

This is an opportunity to join a team that cares deeply about its patients and equally about one another. You will play a key role in guiding individuals and families through their first steps toward recovery, ensuring a compassionate, supportive, and seamless admissions experience.

Compensation: Up to $52,000 depending on your experience.

Schedule & AvailabilityThis role follows a 4-day, 10-hour schedule, allowing coordinators to enjoy three days off each week to support work-life balance and prevent burnout.

Admissions operates extended hours, so we are seeking candidates with open availability, including some evening and weekend shifts. Typical shift coverage falls between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., with schedules set in advance and weekend coverage shared across the team.

What You Will Be Doing

As an Admissions Coordinator, you will serve as a vital first point of contact for individuals and families seeking treatment. You will balance compassion with accuracy, ensuring each prospective client is supported, informed, and guided through the admissions process with care and professionalism.

Essential Job Functions:

Provide clear, accurate information to prospective clients regarding program services, levels of care, and intake processes
Screen all prospective clients for admission eligibility and exclusionary criteria
Verify insurance benefits and clearly communicate treatment options and estimated costs
Coordinate all admissions-related activities, including collaboration with providers, referral sources, families, and internal teams
Partner closely with clinical, business development, marketing, outreach, and alumni teams to support census and continuity of care
Maintain and organize admissions waitlists while prioritizing urgency and appropriateness of placement
Participate in team meetings to discuss challenges, process improvements, and organizational growth
Maintain professional standards, confidentiality, and ethical conduct at all times
Comply with all agency policies, procedures, and the Code of Ethics
Demonstrate an understanding of Purpose Healing Center’s mission, vision, and program goals
Complete additional duties as assigned to support the needs of the organization

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age or older
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Relevant experience in inpatient or outpatient behavioral health, substance use treatment, admissions, outreach, marketing, or screening strongly preferred
General understanding of insurance verification and placement within treatment programs
Strong organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks
Comfortable using basic computer software, including email, word processing, internet research, and spreadsheets
Ability to pass all required background checks

Physical & Working Conditions:

This position is primarily office-based. The role requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, use a computer and telephone, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
