Full Job Description

The Accident Law Group™ is seeking a highly qualified Litigation Paralegal to work with our Litigation team on a variety of personal injury, wrongful death, and medical malpractice cases. We are currently looking for candidates that have experience in:

· Scheduling depositions with multiple parties

· Managing serious personal injury/wrongful death/medical malpractice cases

· Client contact and communication with courts and opposing counsel.

· Medical records requests, assessment, and summarization

· Preparing attorneys for Arbitration/Trial including identifying exhibits, use of trial software to prepare exhibits, organizing trial materials.

· Obtaining necessary information to draft pleadings, disclosure statements, answers to interrogatories, and a variety of other legal documents.

· Drafting discovery and disclosure

· Civil litigation process at the state and federal level

· Handling a variety of high dollar files simultaneously

· Assisting Trial Attorneys in court, including jury selection, electronic presentation of exhibits and tracking fact and expert witnesses

Candidates must have at minimum of 3-5 years of law firm experience with preference given to those who have plaintiff personal injury or medical malpractice including Arizona pre-trial discovery and trial preparation experience; be proficient in Microsoft Office, Casepeer, and Westlaw, etc., have excellent organization and communication skills, strong analytical ability; have the proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment, a comprehensive knowledge of Arizona and Federal court rules of civil procedure and filing requirements. Qualified candidates will possess a friendly and professional demeanor, a keen eye for detail and be a self-motivated team player with a passion for helping clients while showing empathy and understanding.
