About Us

Rok Power is a leader in powerline construction, transmission, and distribution services across North America. As we continue to scale, we are seeking a highly experienced and strategic manager to oversee our procurement team and functions, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and operational excellence.

The Opportunity

The Procurement Manager will manage various sourcing and market engagement related projects and initiatives while driving cost control and supply chain optimization across our procurement activities. This leader will ensure that our vehicles, equipment, and supply chain support safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Determine, propose and drive cost-reduction and supplier optimization opportunities based upon dynamic evaluation of company-spend (equipment, materials, subcontractors, commodities, etc.)

Use available data and works closely with operations to manage equipment specifications, forecast future demand, and meet immediate equipment needs

Provide attentive & prompt internal and external customer support

Ethically negotiate/competitively quote on behalf of the company

Managing key vendor partnerships

ü Solicit and analyze proposals for varied and occasionally complex materials and services

Travel occasionally between offices nationwide as needed

Other duties as requested by leadership

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of experience acquiring trucks, materials, services and equipment used in electric utility construction industry

3+ years’ experience in a direct managerial/leadership capacity; remote team

Highly organized & detail oriented with the ability to multitask

Effectively communicate with field operations and influence change

Knowledge of high voltage electric utility construction equipment and tools

Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills

Exhibit a structured process and well-organized approach to decision-making, without requiring close supervision

Methodical and systematic in overall thought process and approach to project execution

Relocation to Phoenix: Must be willing to relocate to corporate headquarters in Phoenix, AZ.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
5 years' proven experience in procurement management, logistics, or supply chain management.
3 years' experience in a direct managerial/leadership capacity
Strong knowledge of contract management principles and practices.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis effectively.
Knowledge of high voltage electric utility construction equipment and tools
Experience in Navision, Acumatica, Fleetio and Samsara preferred.
Strong excel skills
Strong contract negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers.
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities.
