Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Bilingual Front Desk Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires proficiency in medical terminology and experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems. The Front Desk Scheduler will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within our medical office or clinic setting.

Duties

Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Manage phone systems to handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and provide information.
Provide patient assistance with intake paperwork.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize EHR systems such as Practicefusion, or similar platforms for patient management.
Assist with patient lien and collection of accident related documents and pictures.
Review care plans and ensure proper documentation is added for follow up and therapy appointments.
Provide clerical support including filing, typing, and data entry using Microsoft Office applications.
Handle patient inquiries and resolve issues effectively to enhance patient service experience.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient scheduling of appointments and follow-ups.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting is preferred.
Familiarity with medical terminology, health information management, and documentation review is essential.
Proficiency in using EMR systems; experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix is a plus.
Strong computer skills including typing proficiency (10 key typing) and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
Bilingual candidates only.
Knowledge of personal injury advantageous .
