Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Chemist/Microbiologist Technician to join our dynamic laboratory team. In this role, you will perform essential analytical testing, microbiological assessments, and quality control procedures to ensure our products meet strict regulatory standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and validation of chemical and microbiological testing methods within a pharmaceutical-grade environment.

Responsibilities

Perform microbiological testing including microbial enumeration, contamination detection, and bioburden assessments in accordance with GMP and GLP standards.
Prepare samples meticulously for analysis, ensuring proper sample handling and documentation. Perform in-process and finished product testing including dilutions.
Perform Stability testing on finished product
Maintain calibration and routine servicing of laboratory instruments pH meters
Ensure compliance with all medical devices regulatory requirements including FDA regulations, CGMP standards, and laboratory safety protocols.
Compile batch records, labels, verify weights in the production area.

Experience

Applicant must have a BA/BS in Chemistry, Microbiology or similar.

The job is a combination of Lab testing, Production QC and of course Data Input.

1 year Lab experience in a GMP regulated environment
Familiarity with microbiological testing methods including microbial identification and contamination control practices.
Knowledge of GLP (Good Laboratory Practice), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and FDA regulations related to medical device testing a big plus.
Ability to read, understand and follow SOPs and WIs.
Computer literate
Understanding/speaking Spanish
