Schedule: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday/Saturday

The Manor Village at Desert Ridge is a family owned/operated LUXURY senior living community in the PRIME location of Desert Ridge. The community features resort style amenities and services catering to Independent, Assisted and Memory Care Residents. Responsibilities:

Take all requests for transportation from Residents through the Community approved transportation form and/or online system and coordinate a daily schedule/route that is workable for all parties involved; enter all transportation trips, fees, and activities in The Manor Village computer system
Make contact with Residents within 24-hours (or sooner depending on the circumstances) who request transportation to confirm the following: destination, time of appointment(s), availability of service, scheduled leave and pick-up times, and to inform Residents if the transportation appointment requested fits within the zone allowance in the usage guidelines
If provided transportation runs outside of the allowable 10 mile zone allowance, coordinate with the Accountant to ensure to charge Resident the required fees
Assist Residents to their suites with packages and personal belongings, as requested
Ensure fully stocked first aid kits, blood borne pathogen kits and personal protective equipment are located in The Manor Village vehicle(s) at all times
Ensure all passengers use available seat belts
Ensure all wheelchair bound passengers are strapped in/secured using the available seat belt/strap system located in the bus
Proactively assist Residents getting into and out of vehicle(s)
Monitor individual Resident needs while in transit
Responsible to keep The Manor Village vehicle(s) clean and in safe working order
Maintain vehicle(s) in accordance with warranty requirements and / or internal maintenance (i.e. oil changes, tune ups, inspections, etc.)
Verify that registration of The Manor Village vehicle(s) are completed on time, with proper paperwork and stickers
Keep parking areas throughout the community clean

Qualifications

Must have a valid and clean driving record and be pre-approved as an operator by Manor Village insurer(s) to fill a Safety Sensitive Position
Must have a valid driver’s license in the State and Country of employment
Good knowledge of the City in order to provide the most efficient routing for all transportation requests
Current understanding of emergency and insurance procedures if an accident should occur with the vehicle(s)
Able to follow written and verbal instructions
