Finished Goods Expeditor

Reports To: Inventory Control Manager / General Manager
Location: New Albany, OH
Pay: $19 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, 2nd Shift, 4pm-12:45am, M-F

Position Summary

Accel is hiring a Finished Goods Expeditor to support the movement of work-in-process and finished goods through production and warehouse staging areas. This role is responsible for both physical and system-based product movement, helping ensure that production areas are accurate, organized, and fully cleared of finished goods at the end of production runs.

This is a great fit for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working on the production floor, and able to coordinate with material movers, quality, inventory, and leadership.

Responsibilities

The Finished Goods Expeditor will:

Oversee the physical and system movement of product into the production zone, with support from material movers.
Oversee the physical and system movement of finished goods out of the production zone and into the appropriate warehouse staging area.
Check pallets leaving the finished goods area for accuracy, consistency, and quality.
Communicate errors or concerns to Quality Assurance and leadership as needed.
Enter daily production damages into the system.
Assist with close-of-production-run reconciliation.
Print pallet tags and release finished goods to the warehouse staging area.
Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area.
Support special projects and other assigned tasks.

Qualifications

RF scanning experience preferred.
Previous data entry experience preferred.
Basic math skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse and production environment.
Continuous improvement mindset.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to:

Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Sit or stand through training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
Use a computer keyboard, mouse, scanner, and other equipment.
Lift product up to 25 lbs.
Push and/or pull a pallet jack.
Squat, bend, twist, and reach.
Work in a non-climate-controlled, generally mild warehouse environment.
