Full Job Description

Experienced CNC Machinist able to program, set up, and operate mills and lathes. Must be able to produce parts from start to finish on their own, including programming. Experience with CAD/CAM Software or conversational programming. Knowledge of feeds and speeds for different materials and tooling. Able to read standard and metric blueprints. Able to check own parts using standard machine shop instruments.

Responsibilities

Program, Set up, and operate CNC machines, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining processes.
Utilize CAM programming and CAD software to design and optimize machining operations.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Use precision measuring instruments, such as calipers and micrometers, to verify dimensions and ensure quality standards are met.
Collaborate with team members to improve manufacturing processes and efficiency.

Summary

As a CNC Machinist, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, responsible for operating CNC machines and ensuring precision in machining components. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will utilize your core skills in blueprint reading and mechanical knowledge, alongside premium skills in CAM programming and CAD, to produce high-quality parts. Your expertise in tooling and CNC operations will be essential in meeting production targets and maintaining efficiency. Join our team to contribute to innovative manufacturing solutions in a dynamic environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
