Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious breakfast dishes that delight our guests and set the tone for a fantastic dining experience. Your culinary expertise, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for food preparation will contribute to creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere where every morning starts with excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your cooking skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to quality and guest satisfaction.

Duties

Prepare and cook breakfast items according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
Assist in menu planning by suggesting new breakfast dishes and seasonal specials that appeal to diverse tastes.
Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients with precision and safety.
Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation practices throughout all stages of food handling and preparation.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly used, cleaned, and maintained to uphold health standards.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy breakfast hours while maintaining a positive attitude.
Support catering or special event breakfast setups as needed, ensuring presentation meets our high standards of culinary excellence.

Skills

Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with food handling protocols.
Strong background in food industry settings such as restaurants or catering services, especially with fine dining experience preferred.
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques essential for efficient meal production.
Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety regulations to ensure compliance at all times.
Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food presentation and quality.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and delivering exceptional food service.
Passion for culinary arts with a focus on breakfast cuisine, along with enthusiasm for continuous learning in the kitchen environment.
