Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and analysis of tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of tax laws, financial reporting, and accounting principles. The Tax Associate will work collaboratively with other departments to provide comprehensive tax solutions and support the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly financial statements
Review of client’s bookkeeping entries
Reconciliation of bank statements, preparation of sales tax
Post adjusting journal entries as needed.
Analyzing and minimizing tax liabilities by implementing tax reduction strategies.
Preparing of tax returns and work papers for companies, partnerships, and individuals.
Preparation of payroll tax returns and deposits
Researching tax issues and assisting with tax audits.
Consulting with clients, reviewing their tax information, and responding to questions and concerns.
Manage individual workload to ensure filing deadlines are met.

The ideal candidate will have:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting

· CPA certification preferred.

· 1+ years of tax preparation experience preferred.

· Experience using tax preparation software and applications.

· Ability to handle multiple client engagements.

· Professionalism and integrity

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Good customer service skills.
