Overview

Are you passionate about creating memorable events and driving sales success? We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Event Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the key driver behind securing new event bookings, managing client relationships, and ensuring seamless execution of events from inception to completion. Your enthusiasm for hospitality, exceptional communication skills, and knack for negotiation will help us deliver extraordinary experiences while achieving our sales targets. Duties

Actively pursue new event opportunities through prospecting, networking, and leveraging marketing initiatives
Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to maximize revenue while ensuring client satisfaction
Upsell additional services such as catering, decor, and technical support to enhance event packages
Collaborate with clients to plan event details, including layout, catering, entertainment, and technical requirements
Manage event budgets meticulously, tracking expenses and ensuring profitability for each booking
Coordinate with internal teams—including catering, technical support, and facilities—to deliver flawless events
Utilize event management software and CRM systems to track leads, client communications, and project timelines
Develop and execute targeted event marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and maintaining clear communication throughout the planning process
Oversee onsite event execution, ensuring all aspects meet quality standards and client expectations

Qualifications

Proven experience in event planning, sales, or hospitality industry roles with a focus on client engagement and project management
Strong negotiation skills coupled with the ability to upsell services effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software and CRM systems
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—to liaise confidently with clients and vendors
Experience managing event budgets from initial planning through post-event reconciliation
Knowledge of catering services, guest services, and hospitality best practices is highly desirable
Ability to lead teams during events while maintaining a positive attitude and high energy level
