Job Description

Metropolitan Window Company is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead the day-to-day financial operations of our family-owned and operated window and door business. This is a high-trust, high-impact position where you will work directly with ownership, run the daily financial operations, and help bring clarity, structure, and reporting to a growing company. We are a well-established, respected local window and door company that values doing the right thing, strong customer relationships, and building a business that lasts. The right person will manage all accounting functions, likes solving problems, and enjoys being hands-on in daily operations.

Responsibilities

Own and manage the day-to-day financial operations
Maintain accurate books and financial records
Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
Process and oversee payroll and benefits
Maintain accurate job costing by project
Prepare financial reports
Maintain organized financial records, documentation, and internal processes

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
8+ years of accounting experience
CPA designation
Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks or related accounting software
Advanced proficiency in Excel
Background B2C, home services, construction, or installation-based businesses
