Full Job Description

Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Shuttle Driver and be the vital link that keeps operations moving smoothly! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers between various locations in the Pittsburgh area. Your expertise in commercial driving and route management will help maintain our high standards of safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills while contributing to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Safely operate vehicles with passengers on board
Using appropriate safe distance traveling ensuring passenger safety.
Drive assigned routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition, including checking for mechanical issues or safety concerns.
Maintain accurate logs mileage and fuel consumption for compliance and reporting purposes.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate schedules and address any route changes or issues promptly.
Assisting passengers with disabilities.
Positioning vehicles properly prior to passenger loading and unloading.
Safely entering and exiting hotel lobbies.
Ensuring proper operation of onboard equipment i.e TV, sound systems, and led interior lighting.

Experience

Proven experience in truck driving or commercial driving roles, preferably with passenger driver experience involving route driving.
Skilled in driving within the city of Pittsburgh and surrounding areas.
Ability to maneuver in tight situations safely using mirrors or other techniques when necessary.
Familiarity with the city of Pittsburgh and surrounding areas.
Valid (Class B) or higher commercial driver’s license with (P) passenger endorsement and a clean driving record.
