Overview

As the welcoming face of our establishment, you will create a warm, inviting atmosphere by greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will ensure every visitor feels valued from the moment they walk through the door. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a lively environment dedicated to guest satisfaction and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm, making them feel immediately at home
Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring smooth seating flow
Coordinate with the dining staff to optimize table assignments and minimize wait times
Answer guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism and clear communication, providing accurate information about wait times and menu options
Maintain a clean and organized host stand, ensuring all materials are stocked and presentable
Assist in managing guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously
Support the team during busy periods by providing excellent customer service and facilitating a positive dining experience

Qualifications

Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential
Strong communication skills with an ability to engage confidently with guests and team members
Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
Knowledge of restaurant operations, guest services, and hospitality standards
Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to handle inquiries professionally
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Previous hotel or guest services experience is advantageous but not mandatory
