HVAC Field Service Technician | Commissioning/Startups | Nationwide Travel

COMMISSIONING / START-UP EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
To be considered, you must have previous experience with HVAC equipment commissioning and/or factory start-ups.

Following significant investment and continued growth, we are expanding our U.S. Field Service team to support both our commercial HVAC customers and rapidly growing portfolio of hyperscale data center clients.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at a pivotal stage of growth, working on large-scale commissioning and start-up projects while supporting some of the most advanced HVAC systems in the industry.
What You'll Be Doing
- Commissioning and factory start-up of large commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.
- Performing point-to-point verification, sensor checks and operational testing.
- Verifying Sequence of Operation and assisting with BMS/control system integration.
- Supporting commissioning agents throughout the commissioning process.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and controls-related issues.
- Completing inspections, repairs and operational verification prior to customer handover.
- Working alongside electrical contractors, mechanical contractors, TAB teams and controls specialists on major construction projects.
- Representing the company professionally while building strong customer relationships on site.
What We're Looking For
We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in:
- HVAC equipment commissioning.
- Factory start-ups.
- Chillers, CRAH, CRAC, AHUs or large commercial HVAC equipment.
- Building Automation Systems (BMS/BAS).
- Electrical troubleshooting.
- Controls and Sequence of Operation.
- Point-to-point checkout.
- Sensor verification.
- Commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Working alongside commissioning agents.
Travel
This is a nationwide travel position supporting long-term customer projects.
Typical schedule:
- 2 weeks on the road
- Home for the weekend
- Then back out for another 2-week rotation
All flights, hotels, rental cars and travel expenses are fully covered.
Technicians are also paid for weekends spent away from home as part of their rotation.
