Full Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Register new patients, update patient information, and verify insurance coverage.
Schedule appointments, manage the appointment book, and coordinate patient arrivals.
Answer phone calls, address patient inquiries, and route calls to the appropriate staff.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
Process patient check-ins and check-outs accurately.
Handle patient payments, co-payments, and billing inquiries.
Ensure compliance with patient privacy and data protection regulations (HIPAA).
Proficiently use the eClinicalWorks electronic health record (EHR) system.
Multitask effectively to manage administrative duties while assisting patients.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning.
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure patient needs are met promptly.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, providing excellent customer service.
Uphold a high standard of reliability and punctuality.

Qualifications:

Certified Medical Assistant.
Phlebotomist.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a must.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical front desk role.
Proficiency in using eClinicalWorks.
Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A people-oriented personality with a focus on patient satisfaction.
Reliable and punctual.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
