Commercial Kitchen Equipment/HVAC-R Technician – Senior/Junior/Supervisor Openings

We are seeking an experienced technician to join our team and play a crucial role in our service operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing service operations, mentoring junior technician and is ready for a managerial position with the company.

Job Summary

The Commercial Kitchen Equipment/HVAC-R Technician (multiple roles) is primarily responsible for the service, repair, and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment in restaurants, supermarkets, hotels, and other foodservice facilities. This candidate (can be a CFESA (Commercial Food Equipment Service Association) certified technician) will diagnose and repair a wide range of equipment including ovens, fryers, ranges, refrigeration units, ice-machines and more. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently, and exceptional customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial kitchen equipment including ovens, stoves, fryers, griddles, dishwashers, refrigeration units, Ice Machines and HVAC systems

- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and service calls

- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients

- Order and maintain an inventory of common repair parts

- Mentor and train Junior Technicians

- Stay up-to-date on the latest equipment technologies and repair methods

Qualifications

- CFESA certification or any other relevant preferred

- Minimum 5 years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment

- Strong background in HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems

- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs

- Attention to detail and commitment to safety

Experience requirement for Junior roles

Duties and Responsibilities

- Assist Senior Technicians in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment

- Perform basic troubleshooting, parts replacement, and preventative maintenance tasks

- Learn to use specialized tools and equipment required for commercial kitchen equipment repair

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients

- Participate in ongoing training to expand your technical knowledge and skills

Qualifications

- CFESA certification preferred

- 1-3 years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment

- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in learning HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems

- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs

- Attention to detail and commitment to safety

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
