Full Job Description

Mentalix develops biometric identification and electronic-submission products used by law-enforcement agencies, government organizations, and other professional customers throughout the United States.

We are seeking an energetic and adaptable person to help strengthen customer relationships, expand our installed customer base, develop marketing materials, demonstrate our products, and represent Mentalix at conferences and customer locations.

Mentalix is committed to an AI-driven approach to marketing and customer development. The person in this role will use AI as a foundational daily tool for research, content development, product positioning, customer targeting, personalized outreach, and campaign execution. We want someone who is enthusiastic about this approach and capable of combining AI-generated work with sound judgment, accuracy, and genuine customer interaction.

Responsibilities

· Contact existing customers to identify needs and potential expansion opportunities.

· Research and proactively target specific prospective customers and market segments.

· Use AI tools to develop personalized outreach, presentations, product materials, campaign content, and customer-specific sales materials.

· Use customer feedback, competitive information, and AI-assisted research to help improve product positioning and strategy.

· Assist with and eventually conduct remote and onsite product demonstrations.

· Attend conferences and trade shows, engage with attendees, demonstrate products, and follow up with leads.

· Make customer check-in visits to strengthen relationships and gather feedback.

· Maintain accurate customer, lead, and opportunity information.

· Coordinate with sales, technical services, product development, and company leadership.

Qualifications

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Professional and confident when interacting with customers.

· Willingness and enthusiasm to travel regularly.

· Ability to learn technical products and explain them clearly.

· Strong initiative, organization, judgment, and follow-through.

· Comfortable working in a smaller company with varied responsibilities.

· Enthusiasm for using generative AI as an essential business and productivity tool.

· Ability to direct and refine AI-generated work, verify accuracy, and turn it into polished, customer-specific materials.

· Ability to learn new AI tools and apply them creatively to practical business objectives.

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

Helpful Experience

Experience in one or more of the following is preferred but not required:

· Biometrics, fingerprint identification, or identity-management technology

· Criminal justice, law enforcement, public safety, or government technology

· B2B marketing, customer success, account management, or sales

· Generative AI, AI-assisted research, content development, or workflow automation

· Product demonstrations, technical presentations, or conference participation

· CRM systems, email campaigns, digital marketing, or targeted customer outreach

Mentalix will provide product and industry training.

Growth Opportunity

Compensation and Travel

· Base salary of $50,000–$60,000, depending on experience.

· Performance-based bonus opportunity.

· Employee benefits in accordance with company programs.

· Business travel expenses paid by Mentalix.

· Periodic travel throughout the United States, including overnight and multi-day trips.
