Changing someone’s life can also change your own. When a Direct Support Professional joins the Balance Autism team as an Autism Associate, they are not only jumping into an exciting career, but they’re also touching the lives of those they work with daily.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BE:

Inspiring personal growth
Teaching self-care
Encouraging development of social skills
In some cases, aiding in vocational skills
Tasks include, but are not limited to bathing, cleaning, cooking, and engaging in daily plan goals.

Adult Autism Associates work with individuals 18 years of age or older.

REQUIREMENTS:

18 years or older
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance

We currently have Full-time and Part-time opportunities available in the following shifts:

Located in Altoona, Iowa

1st Shift: 6:00AM to 2:00PM

2nd Shift: 2:00PM to 10:00PM
