The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading a team of Quality Engineers supporting Salesforce platforms, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and integrated enterprise applications. This role drives quality through a modern quality engineering approach that emphasizes automation, AI-assisted testing, shift-left practices, continuous testing, and risk-based quality strategies.
We are looking for a motivated individual who can provide leadership and technical guidance to the talented team of test engineers and who is well versed with testing technologies. Excellent communication skills are a must, as you will collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Business System Analysts, Technical Architects and the Product Scrum teams.
What You’ll Do

Engage with business owners, ATI counterparts, and project delivery team members to understand, clarify, and document objectives and success factors for solutions in support of company strategic objectives.

Define and execute the quality engineering strategy for Salesforce and related platforms.

Establish quality standards, test governance, and best practices across Agile teams.

Promote a shift-left testing culture that embeds quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase test effectiveness, efficiency, and speed of delivery.

Champion quality as a shared responsibility across development, product, and business teams.

Lead the development and execution of our scalable test automation strategy.

Increase automation coverage across UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end test layers.

Leverage AI-powered testing tools for test generation, maintenance, defect analysis, and test optimization.

Drive adoption of intelligent automation practices that reduce manual effort and improve release confidence.

Continuously evaluate emerging AI and quality engineering technologies to improve team productivity.

Ensure proposed solutions are fully tested as appropriate before delivery.

Provide updates, guidance and recommendations related to technology solutions and projects to staff, impacted ATI teams, Corp Services/Protiviti business teams, and Sr. ATI Management.
- Partner with and obtain feedback from technical discipline owners and experts to maintain a clear understanding and awareness of current technical standards and direction; provide feedback on standards based on project experiences and user needs.

Collaborate and consult with ATI Leadership, managers, and business owners to provide support during the solution delivery and application support phases, managing enhancements, maintenance priorities, and trade-offs as applicable.

Perform resource planning aligned to current approved and prioritized efforts.

Lead/ensure estimation efforts, identify resource needs for work, ensure skilled resources are available when required, manage work to available capacity.

Ensure resources are properly trained.

Ensure budgets and schedules are realistically set and attained.

Recommend and implement changes to methods and practices.

Responsible for personnel actions, including hiring, onboarding, firing, promotion, development, discipline, and employee compensation.

Provide coaching, guidance, mentoring to direct reports and next level down where and when appropriate.

Lead effective collaboration not only in immediate team but also with other IT teams verticals, dev team, and business partners to improve efficiencies and support quality deliverables.

Monitor the collaborative process and make adjustments as needed.

Understand and manage department and Robert Half personnel practices/policies; keep direct reports and staff updated on general Corporate information.

Demonstrated track record of inclusion and cultural awareness.

Interact with customers and staff on technical design issues and resolutions.

Collaborate with management of Production/Operations teams in addressing production issues.
What You’ll Need
-
Bachelor's degree in IT-related field or equivalent years of experience.
-
Demonstrated leadership of peers in a fast-paced Global IT environment.
-
3+ years of experience leading a quality engineering team.
-
Strong automation experience, including designing, implementing, and scaling test automation frameworks and automated quality engineering practices
-
Strong knowledge of and experience with IT tools and technologies required by the unit as well as IT processes and methodologies.

Ability to diagnose and resolve complex problems quickly.

Strong de-bugging skills.

Experienced in full lifecycle software development, including analysis, design, development, testing and implementation.

Understanding of object-oriented analysis and design techniques.
-
Ability to create project, software, design, functional architecture, or other related artifacts.
-
Familiarity with process modeling techniques.
-
Knowledge of process definition and continuous improvement methodologies.

Understanding of Cloud, Server, Networking, modern operating system provisioning.

Ability with passion for self-learning to remain current with emerging new technologies.

Knowledge of DevOps processes, CI\CD implementations, and software and infrastructure automation.

Command of standard Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel or an alternate reporting tool.

Strong knowledge of and demonstrated practice in customer service, business acumen, IT infrastructure technologies, end-user experience and technology project delivery preferred.

Must be able to work in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
$115,000.00 - $175,000.00
