Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice on Thursday and Friday. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes while maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a collaborative environment that values patient-centered care and clinical excellence.

Privately owned dental offices in San Ramon, seeking a talented & enthusiastic General Dentist to join us in a great deal of fun.

Work Model

Ideal candidates will be capable of performing various dental procedures, including fillings, root canals, crowns and bridges, dentures and extractions.

Duties

Perform a wide range of dental procedures including general dentistry, root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, and endodontics.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with dental terminology and best practices.
Utilize dental fabrication techniques and ensure precise dental restorations.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality patient care using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Educate patients on oral health, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continued education and training.

Skills

Proficiency with dental software Eaglesoft.
Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry, including procedures related to pediatrics.
Experience with oral surgery, dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental fabrication.
Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical imaging techniques.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively.
Knowledge of infection control standards and HIPAA compliance.
Ability to perform procedures using aseptic techniques in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills to explain treatment plans clearly to patients of all ages.
Prior experience working in a dental clinic or dental office setting is highly preferred. This position is ideal for a motivated professional committed to delivering exceptional dental care while advancing their clinical expertise within a supportive team environment.
