Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Banquet Server, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences during special events, conferences, and celebrations. This energetic position requires a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to provide seamless food and beverage service. As a Banquet Server, you will ensure that every guest feels welcomed, attended to promptly, and leaves with memorable impressions. Your enthusiasm and dedication will contribute to creating an inviting atmosphere that elevates our guests’ occasions.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure comfort and satisfaction
Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings, linens, and serviceware
Clear tables promptly and assist with bussing to maintain cleanliness throughout the event
Provide attentive guest services by answering questions, accommodating special requests, and ensuring overall guest relations are positive
Follow food safety protocols during food handling, serving, and cleanup processes
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and address any service issues proactively

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment is highly preferred
Culinary or banquet experience is a strong plus, demonstrating familiarity with food presentation and service standards
Proven skills in guest services, customer service, and guest relations within restaurant or hotel settings
Knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety regulations, and catering operations
Experience in serving at large events or banquets enhances your ability to manage multiple tables efficiently
Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
A background in coffee service or restaurant experience can be beneficial for versatile service capabilities
