Atomization Machine Operator

Location: Brighton, MI
Starting Wage: $19.25 / hour (Paid weekly)
Citizenship: US Citizenship or Permanent Residency Required (Due to military contracts)

Shift Schedules

We offer stable, structured 12-hour shift schedules. Applicants must be flexible to work off-shifts and weekends:

Sunday – Wednesday | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Wednesday – Saturday | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Atomization Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, loading, and processing raw materials through specialized high-speed vacuum-melt machinery. The ideal candidate works well independently, maintains a steady production pace, and strictly adheres to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Material Preparation: Build furnace charges accurately according to strict technical specifications, material types, and process states.
Equipment Operation: Load raw materials into furnaces, safely pour molten material into the atomizer chamber, and execute powder process dumps.
Process Monitoring: Support critical vacuum processes, manage heating cycles, and operate high-speed industrial machinery.
Material Handling: Move large materials safely and efficiently using industrial equipment, including cranes and forklifts.
Quality & Compliance: Complete precise process documentation in strict accordance with department guidelines and aerospace quality standards.
Instruction Literacy: Interpret and follow complex manufacturing instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications & Skills

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical Math: Ability to read a standard ruler and apply basic shop math calculations accurately.
Machinery Experience: Working knowledge of high-speed manufacturing machinery and precision measurement tools.
Production Literacy: Proven ability to read, comprehend, and execute detailed written and verbal manufacturing instructions.
Work Style: Self-motivated to work independently and maintain an acceptable production pace without constant supervision.
Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, strong understanding of production procedures, and a total commitment to safety regulations.
