What You’ll Do:

Individualize preoperative planning and prepare for surgical intervention to meet the needs of each patient and physician

Prepare surgical suite/clinical area and all supplies/equipment to ensure environmental safety for patients and staff

Anticipate needs of the surgeon

Display dexterity in the use of surgical instruments throughout procedures

Participate in counting according to policy, as well as all aspects of Central Sterile including decontamination, wrapping, sterilization, and biological monitoring
What We’re Looking For:
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent

Successful completion of Surgical Tech Program

Clinical experience in a health care setting

Certification as a Surgical Technician
- Ability to respond appropriately to changing patient and staffing conditions

Demonstrated ability to make independent judgment in times of need along with the ability to seek guidance and/or support from appropriate resources

Computer literacy

Ability to write clearly and concisely

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-
Ability to give and accept feedback in a constructive manner
Preferred:

Previous experience as a Surgical Technician
