Staffing Recruiter / Recruiting Coordinator

Full-Time | Internal Position | Monday–Friday 9am-6pm

Gem State Staffing in Pocatello is seeking a motivated, professional, and customer-focused Staffing Recruiter / Recruiting Coordinator to join our growing team. This is an internal, full-time opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, pressure deadline environment, enjoys building relationships, and is passionate about connecting great people with great employers.

What You'll Do

As a Staffing Recruiter, you'll play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of our office by recruiting qualified candidates, supporting employees, and partnering with local businesses to meet their workforce needs.

Primary Responsibilities

· Recruit, source, screen, interview, and onboard job applicants.

· Match qualified candidates with available positions based on skills and experience.

· Build relationships with applicants, employees, and local employers.

· Make outbound recruiting, telemarketing, and client development calls.

· Answer incoming calls and provide exceptional customer service.

· Assist with job postings across Indeed, social media, and other recruiting platforms.

· Coordinate employee assignments, dispatches, and scheduling.

· Maintain accurate applicant records, employee files, and database information.

· Complete employment verification, onboarding documents, and compliance paperwork.

· Conduct reference checks and background screening processes.

· Support payroll, timekeeping, and employee payout processes.

· Perform daily audits, filing, data entry, and other administrative duties.

· Utilize staffing software and Microsoft Office to manage recruiting activities.

· Assist management with daily office operations and staffing priorities.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is organized, dependable, can multi task and enjoys working with people.

Required Qualifications

· Minimum two years of administrative or office experience.

· Strong customer service experience.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Professional phone etiquette.

· Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and email.

· Accurate data entry and recordkeeping abilities.

· Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

· Positive attitude with a solutions-oriented mindset.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Reliable transportation.

· Valid driver's license.

· High School Diploma or GED.

· Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including background check and drug test.
