Full Job Description

Position Summary:

The Recruitment Assistant plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in supporting Girl Scout membership growth during our peak membership drive. This part-time, temporary position focuses entirely on the operational side of recruitment efforts, including printing, organizing, and prepping materials for distribution and upcoming recruitment events.

This is a self-managed role that requires excellent communication and proactive coordination. You will be responsible for managing your own workflow to ensure staff and volunteers across the region are fully equipped with the materials they need, exactly when they need them.

Duration & Timeline:

Peak Season: July – November

Schedule:

Total Hours: Approximately 25–30 hours per month (hours may fluctuate slightly based on peak recruitment deadlines).

Flexibility: Self-managed, highly flexible hours designed to fit your schedule while meeting project deadlines.

Compensation:

$17.50/hour

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Coordination: Proactively communicate with recruitment staff and volunteers to track their material needs and guarantee timely preparation.

Production: Print, collate, and organize Girl Scout recruitment materials (flyers, sign-in sheets, event kits).

Inventory Management: Track inventory of printed supplies, restock as needed, and maintain an organized workspace and supply bin system.

Event Prep: Assemble outreach kits and table display materials so recruiters are fully prepared for community events.

Requirements:

Strong Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to stay in close communication with a remote team.

Self-Management: Highly self-motivated with the ability to manage your own time, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines independently.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace).

Ability to lift and transport boxes of printed materials (~20–30 lbs) within the workspace.

Must pass background checks.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with printing systems, organization methods, or inventory tracking.

Interest in or experience with youth-serving organizations like Girl Scouts.
