Full Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Clerk/Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position located in our Yorba Linda office. Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.

American Geotechnical, Inc. is a soil engineering firm with 4 office locations in the Southwestern United States. The ideal candidate needs to be a team player with strong work ethic, be highly self-motivated, and have good organizational skills in a somewhat fast-paced environment. Primary duties include:

Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
Assist with month-end close and general ledger support.
Perform collections activities and follow up with clients on outstanding balances.
Analyze Excel data for accuracy and completeness.
Maintain organized records of all financial transactions.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls as needed.
Provide general administrative support as needed.

Candidates should have knowledge of basic office equipment and be proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams. Candidates should also possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines, and be able to maintain confidentiality. Prior experience with Deltek Vision is highly desired.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
