Full Job Description

Mascot Performer – Weekends (South Florida)

Imagine Occasions is seeking energetic, dependable, and professional Mascot Performers to join our growing entertainment team. We provide character appearances for birthday parties, schools, cities, festivals, and family events throughout South Florida.

This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with children, performing, dancing, and creating magical memories.

IMPORTANT: We are looking for performers who are RELIABLE. Punctuality and professionalism are just as important as performance ability.

Requirements:

Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel throughout Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties.
Must be available on weekends.
Must arrive early and be dependable.
Must enjoy interacting with children and families.
Must be comfortable wearing mascot costumes for extended periods.
Must be able to follow event timelines and instructions.
Must maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance.
Must be authorized to work as an Independent Contractor.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in entertainment, theater, dance, cheer, theme parks, or children's events.
Experience working with children.
Comfortable dancing and performing in front of groups.

Responsibilities:

Arrive at events no less than 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.
Perform in character throughout the appearance.
Participate in dancing, games, photo opportunities, and guest interactions.
Represent Imagine Occasions in a positive and family-friendly manner.
Properly care for and return company costumes and equipment.

Compensation:

Competitive pay per event.
