Job Title: Purchasing Manager / Strategic Sourcing Specialist
Location: Boca Raton, FL (100% On-Site)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year (Commensurate with experience)
Additional Compensation: Performance-based bonus structure

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced, highly analytical, and proactive Purchasing Manager to take full ownership of our supply chain, sourcing, and inventory management operations at our Boca Raton location. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing high-quality materials, aggressively negotiating prices, maintaining strong domestic and international vendor relationships, and working closely with our accounting team to ensure precise inventory asset tracking.

The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of inventory management, forecasting, and cross-functional financial alignment. If you have extensive experience managing global supply chains and thrive in an interactive, hands-on, fast paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization: Proactively source raw materials and finished goods, shop and compare vendor pricing, and execute cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
Vendor Management: Build, develop, and maintain long-term, collaborative relationships with both US-based and international suppliers, with a heavy emphasis on manufacturing partners in China.
Inventory & Demand Planning: Monitor current stock levels, analyze sales velocity, and utilize demand forecasting to calculate accurate reorder points and maintain optimal inventory levels.
Accounting Alignment: Partner closely with the Accounting department to cross-reference purchase orders, close out completed production runs, and ensure that physical inventory levels accurately match the books.
Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between internal teams and external logistics/manufacturing partners to ensure timely production and delivery schedules.
Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential supply chain disruptions, manage lead times, and establish backup sourcing options to ensure business continuity.

Qualifications and Experience:

Location Requirement: Must be able to commute daily to our office in Boca Raton, FL (100% on-site position).
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience as a Purchasing Agent, Buyer, or Sourcing Manager.
Inventory & Systems Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management principles and hands-on experience using QuickBooks Desktop for purchasing or inventory tracking.
Financial Literacy: Strong understanding of how purchase orders interact with general ledgers, accounts payable, and inventory valuation balance sheets.
Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and contract management skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a plus.

Benefits & Compensation:

Competitive base salary ($90,000 - $120,000 based on experience)
Performance-based bonus structure
Paid Time Off (PTO): 3 weeks of combined PTO (vacation/sick time) per year, prorated based on start date
