Millie's under NEW MANAGEMENT, a restaurant in Priest Lake is hiring Waitstaff for an immediate start! Housing available for the right candidates!!!!

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert beverage and food knowledge, and a positive attitude. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable dining moments for our guests while ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary passion, sales skills, and hospitality expertise in a fast-paced, fine dining environment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, providing excellent guest relations from start to finish
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation, including spirits, wine, cocktails, and beverage service
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue through effective suggestive selling techniques
Process cash and card transactions accurately, handle cash handling responsibilities, and provide correct change or receipts
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables promptly, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy hours while managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining settings preferred
Strong knowledge of POS systems , or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus
Demonstrated ability in beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and guest-focused approach
Ability to multitask efficiently by managing multiple tables while maintaining attention to detail
Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash responsibly
Culinary experience or food preparation knowledge is advantageous but not required; a passion for food industry trends is valued
Food safety certification or sanitation training preferred; familiarity with proper food handling practices
Strong communication skills coupled with a positive attitude; previous host/hostess or bussing experience is beneficial
