Job Summary
We are seeking an detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen team in a fast-paced environment. This role involves overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and safety standards are met, managing inventory and costs, and inspiring staff to perform at their best. The Kitchen Manager will be pivotal in maintaining a vibrant kitchen atmosphere that promotes teamwork, efficiency, and excellence. We also offer an bonus plan

Responsibilities

Supervise all kitchen activities including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to ensure high-quality standards are maintained.
Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
Oversee food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times.
Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance culinary skills, customer service, and operational efficiency.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth shift management and seamless service delivery.
Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; oversee cash handling procedures.
Maintain a positive team environment by supervising staff performance, conducting interviews for new hires, and fostering professional growth.

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within quick service restaurant settings.
Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experienced in cash handling and transaction processing.
Demonstrated supervisory experience with a focus on staff training, team management, and leadership in hospitality environments.
Familiarity with inventory control techniques and food safety standards; experience with budgeting and food production is preferred.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Prior experience in fine dining or casual dining environments is advantageous.
