Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Production Scheduler to coordinate and optimize manufacturing operations. In this dynamic role, you will develop and manage detailed production schedules, ensuring that manufacturing processes align with demand forecasts, inventory levels, and delivery timelines. Your expertise in supply chain management, ERP systems, and production planning will drive efficiency, reduce waste, and support seamless cross-functional collaboration across departments. Duties

Develop and maintain master production schedules (MPS) using advanced production management systems in our Acumatica ERP platform.
Analyze forecasting data and adjust schedules accordingly for optimal inventory control.
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and manufacturing teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools to balance inventory levels with production needs, minimizing excess stock or shortages.
Monitor production progress daily, identify potential delays or bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions proactively.
Support forecasting accuracy and demand forecasting analysis.
Facilitate cross-functional communication to align production schedules with sales commitments, inventory management systems, and logistics operations.
Will cross train in some sales roles, dealing with customers either directly or indirectly.

Experience

Proven experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment, preferably with familiarity in lean manufacturing principles.
Technical proficiency in ERP systems such as Acumatica, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent production management software is essential.
Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (IMS), demand planning, MRP processes, and logistics inventory management.
Excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration across departments.
Prior exposure to manufacturing environments emphasizing inventory control, supply chain coordination, and technical proficiency in production scheduling tools.
