Job Title: Preconstruction Estimator
Location: Maine, New England
Salary: $125,000 - $165,000 + Bonus + Outstanding Benefits

Are you an experienced Estimator looking to join a company where your work will directly influence major commercial developments across New England and the East Coast?

We're partnering with an established and growing real estate developer and construction business with an impressive portfolio of commercial, mixed-use and residential developments. With active projects spanning multiple states and a strong pipeline of future work, this is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative, forward-thinking organisation that continues to invest in its people and projects.

The Opportunity

You'll play a key role in the preconstruction process, working alongside experienced Project Managers and senior leadership to deliver accurate estimates on projects ranging from $10M to $100M.

This position offers genuine variety, supporting a diverse portfolio of developments including:

Mixed-use developments
Commercial construction
Retail projects
Residential communities
Parking structures

You'll have the opportunity to work on landmark developments whilst contributing to projects from initial budgeting through to successful delivery.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed conceptual and hard bid estimates
Complete quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
Obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier pricing
Develop project budgets and cost plans
Review drawings, specifications and contract documents
Identify value engineering opportunities
Support Project Managers throughout the preconstruction process
Maintain estimating databases and cost information
Build strong relationships with subcontractors and clients
Assist in securing new work across an exciting project portfolio

What We're Looking For

Experience as an Estimator or Preconstruction professional within commercial construction
Strong quantity take-off and pricing experience
Experience delivering projects valued from $10M+
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
A proactive approach with strong commercial awareness
