We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead municipal water and wastewater treatment projects while building strong partnerships with public utilities, public works departments, engineers, and municipal leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Manage municipal water and wastewater treatment projects from planning through completion.
Serve as the primary point of contact for municipal clients, consulting engineers, and regulatory agencies.
Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and work plans.
Coordinate internal resources, subcontractors, and Waterline's in-house construction and technical teams.
Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates.
Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to ensure successful project outcomes.
Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract requirements.
Support business development efforts and foster long-term relationships with municipal customers.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Science, Business, or related field.
5+ years of project management experience in water/wastewater treatment or municipal infrastructure.
Experience working directly with municipalities, utility districts, or public works organizations.
Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, contract administration, and client management.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

Professional Engineer (PE) License.
PMP Certification.
Experience with water/wastewater treatment plant construction, rehabilitation, and utility infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with GIS, asset management systems, and digital project delivery tools.
Experience utilizing Trimble software products or related construction technology platforms.
Knowledge of municipal asset management, utility operations, and infrastructure planning.
