What You'll Do
As a Chimney Technician, you'll perform a variety of chimney, fireplace, and masonry services while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, clean, repair, and maintain chimneys, fireplaces, and venting systems.
- Install chimney liners, fireplaces, wood, and pellet stoves, chimney caps, dampers, and related components.
- Perform masonry repairs, including chimney rebuilds, repointing, crown work, flashing, waterproofing, tuckpointing, and firebox restoration.
- Diagnose chimney and fireplace issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Educate homeowners on fireplace safety, maintenance, and service recommendations.
- Prepare estimates and recommend additional services when appropriate.
- Complete job documentation, photos, reports, and service records using company software.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, equipment, and clean job sites.
- Follow all company safety policies and industry standards while working on roofs and ladders.
- Lead or assist crew members while maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism.
- maintain a rigorous follow-up with all customers you gave proposals too (you will be working on a commission base)
What We're Looking For
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working on roofs, ladders, and at heights.
- Able to lift 50–80 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
- Construction, chimney, masonry, fireplace, HVAC, or related trade experience preferred. but not a necessity strong sales techniques a positive
- Sales experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of chimney, fireplace, masonry, construction, HVAC, or related trade experience preferred.
- Training Required for motivated candidates with transferable construction skills.
- Knowledge of chimney systems, venting, liners, fireplaces, and masonry repair preferred.
- CSIA, NFI, OSHA 10, or other industry certifications are a plus (or willingness to obtain them).
- Ability to pass background screening, driving record review, and drug screening where applicable.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Basic computer and mobile device skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Authorized to work in the United States.

Work Schedule
Full-Time
- Monday–Friday
- 7:30 AM – 5:00ish
- Occasional Saturdays as needed
