Full Job Description

JOB DETAILS

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) oversees and directs all finance and accounting functions of the hospital for all general ledger accounts, including but not limited to: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Fixed Assets, budgeting and inventory by performing the principal duties and responsibilities personally or through subordinates. Provides leadership and guidance to the finance and accounting teams. Provides recommendations to the CEO and Executive team and assists with long-term financial and business planning. Provides comprehensive, timely and accurate financial reporting for Hospital, Clinics, and Home Health. Tracks cash flow and analyzes the company’s financial weaknesses and strength, proposing corrective actions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business.
CPA or CMA preferred but not required.
Five years’ experience directly related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and general ledger required - financial statements, tax preparation and cost reporting.
Hospital financial / accounting experience required.
Financial / accounting management experience required.
Knowledge and experience with reimbursement methodology and contractual agreement analysis and reconciliation.
Demonstrated ability to plan and lead fiscal initiatives and strategies.
