Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Opthalmic Technician/Scribe to join our healthcare team in Freehold, NJ. As a Medical Technician/Scribe, you will play a vital role in assisting healthcare professionals by accurately transcribing medical records and documenting patient encounters. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining valuable experience in the medical field.

Responsibilities:
- Accurately transcribe medical documentation, including patient histories, physical examinations, diagnostic test results, and treatment plans
- Record patient encounters in real-time during medical appointments
- Maintain organized and up-to-date medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation
- Assist with data entry and administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:
- Proficient typing skills to efficiently transcribe medical information
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in documentation
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred
- Previous experience or coursework in healthcare or related field is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
