Job Title: Front Desk Coordinator

Our team is passionate about helping our patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Coordinator.

Position Summary:

As a Front Desk Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service. You will help maintain the front office operations of our dental practice, including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and maintaining accurate patient records. Your professionalism, organizational skills, and friendly demeanor will help create a welcoming and efficient environment for both patients and staff.

Responsibilities:

Greet patients warmly and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process.
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments as needed.
Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately.
Maintain up-to-date patient records and ensure all necessary forms are completed.
Collect and process patient payments; explain office policies when needed.
Coordinate communication between patients, clinical staff, and other team members.
Assist with general administrative duties including filing, scanning, and office organization.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred).
Previous experience in a dental or medical front office setting is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Denticon, Open Dental).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities.
Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
