About us

We are a small Robotics and Computer Science learning center in Branchburg, NJ. We working in a professional, challenging, engaging learning environment. Our goal is to provide year-round results-oriented, high quality robotics engineering and technology education for talented youth from Grades 5 to 12. We offer engineering challenges that are not commonly available at grade-schools. Majority of our program heavily stresses in software development required to give awareness to the machine. Henceforth, our high school programs deliver college level challenges..

JOB DESCRIPTION -----------------------------------------------------

Type: Job Category Office and Admin Tasks Support , Administrative Assistants, office managing, etc.

Relevant Work Experience:

- 5+ years Office support and customers interface

- 5+ years of MS outlook, Word (mail merge), Excel (creating pivot table)

Work schedule:

· Summer:

o Mon-Fri :

o 8:30 to 4:30

· During School year:

· Full Time:

o Days: Tue to Sat or Wed to Sun

o Time: 10am-6pm or 11am-7pm hours per day

· Part Time - Select 20 to 40 hours from below :

o Days: Tue to Sat or Wed to Sun

o Time: 10am-6pm or 11am-7pm hours per day

Major Responsibilities:

· Performs a wide variety of office clerical duties for the director and instructors,

· Handle students' registration/enrollment, and keep track of schedule and update rosters, etc.

· Effective and timely communication with parents.

Sample Duties (but not limited to):

· Documentation with MS Office Products, especially MS Word (with Mail merge features), and Excel (with simple formulas and navigation)

· Familiar with google suite such as google drive, doc, sheet, etc.

· Prepares correspondence, mostly email via Outlook.

· Processes and organizes paperwork, and keep office/classroom supplies ready and organized.

· Handles basic inquiries on behalf of the director or instructors.

· Communicate with customers (parents/schools/teachers)

· Answering telephone calls and emails from customers and clients

· Monitoring office/kitchen/bathroom supplies and ordering new stationery

· Keep the work space professional and tidy, office/classroom supplies, etc.

· Reporting office progress to senior management and working with them to improve office operations and procedures.

Qualifications:

MUST BE DETAILED-ORIENTED.
MUST be able to work productively with limited supervision
MUST take initiative AND be resourceful to accomplish tasks, strive for accuracy.
MUST have a cheery disposition
MUST have proficiency experience in result-driven when assisting customers and good at KEEPING the workspace ORGANIZED.
MUST demonstrate the ability to understand what it means by taking ownership of their tasks.
MUST have proficient experience using MS Office including Outlook, Word, and especially Excel
MUST have a minimum 5 years of office experience, as said above.
MUST have a proven attention to detail and love to keep themselves organized.
MUST Like to be creative and analytical.
MUST be Personable. Good communication skills are required to interact with customers.
Show proven experience in social media posting on Instagram and Facebook.
