Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Pizza & Sandwich Cook to join our vibrant culinary team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious pizzas and sandwiches that delight our guests. Your expertise in food preparation, food safety, and kitchen operations will ensure every dish meets our high standards of quality and flavor. The ideal candidate must be reliable and able to work in a busy environment. Team member oriented and customer facing skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas, sandwiches, and related menu items with precision.
Support a catering menu for small group events.
Follow standardized recipes and menu guidelines to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
Assist in menu planning to introduce new flavors and seasonal specials that excite our guests.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
Support food service operations by efficiently assembling orders for dine-in.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders during busy hours.
Maintain stock and accurate kitchen inventory records.

Qualifications

Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within the food industry.
Proficiency in meal preparation techniques.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Experience working in restaurants or catering environments is highly desirable.
Familiarity with menu planning, fine dining standards, or culinary experience is a plus.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Previous experience is advantageous but not required. Current food safety certifications necessary or must obtain.
