Job Title: Loan Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Loan Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing loan applications and all supporting financial documentation to ensure compliance with lending guidelines and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze credit applications and supporting documentation.
Evaluate credit bureau reports, appraisals, bank statements, tax returns, income documentation, and other financial records.
Assess borrower creditworthiness and financial stability.
Ensure loan files are complete, accurate, and compliant with applicable regulations and underwriting guidelines.
Communicate with loan officers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to obtain missing documentation and resolve file discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records and meet established turnaround times.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Loan Analyst, Loan Processor, or in a similar mortgage lending role.
Experience with Conventional, FHA, USDA, and VA loan programs is required.
Strong knowledge of mortgage lending guidelines, documentation, and compliance requirements.
Ability to analyze financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, and income documentation.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mortgage loan origination systems is preferred.
