Full Job Description

Upper Valley Pediatrics is seeking to hire a part time clinical nurse for our West Lebanon location. This leadership position will oversee and support our clinical staff while working closely with the Practice Manager to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care and daily operations. Upper Valley Pediatrics is a community-based pediatric and adolescent practice dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to children and families throughout our region. We proudly participate in Vermont’s Blueprint for Health program and are recognized as a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH).

Job Title: Nurse Manager

Reports to: Practice Manager

Interrelationships: Medical Providers and Nursing Staff

Education:

LPN or Higher with active nursing license
3-5 Years Medical office experience preferred
Supervisory experience preferred

Competencies:

Comprehensive knowledge of nursing care and medical practices
Comfort with EHR Systems
Strong communication skills, good time management skills, organizational and problem solving skills.
Willingness to work independently and collaboratively with the practice manager
Professionalism is a MUST

Physical Demands:

Ability to function in an medical office setting and assist in clinical department management

Position Objective:

The clinical nurse will provide oversight of the medical department functions and tasks, supervision of nursing staff and staff training in clinical areas. Assist with practice manager and physician owner as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary Duties

Triage
Prep/send prescriptions
Safety Officer/ OSHA
Care coordination
Quality improvement projects
Completes daily morning huddle
Medical Staff Supervision
Manage Clinical protocols
Primary Vaccine administrator for Bradford Clinic (VFC)
Inventory
VFC program monitoring and management
Coordinate Community flu clinics
Back up Vaccine Administrator for West Lebanon Clinic (NHIIS)
Prior Authorizations
Lab Manager
Assist in rooming patients/cleaning rooms
Assist providers with vaccines and labs
Assist in lab processing

Pay: $26.00 - $36.00 per hour
