Full Job Description

Lead Operations. Build Teams. Drive Continuous Improvement.

Greenfiber, an industry leader in cellulose insulation manufacturing across the United States and Canada, is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead our Chandler, Arizona facility.

This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing professional who can translate business strategy into operational results. You will oversee site operations while building a safety-first culture, developing a high-performing workforce, improving product quality, and delivering strong financial performance.

Relocation and work visa assistance is not available for this position. Candidates must be able to legally work on-site in Chandler.

What You’ll Do

As Plant Manager, you will take ownership of the facility’s people, performance, and operational success. Key responsibilities include:

Lead a safety-first culture through inspections, audits, training, and adherence to OSHA, PPE, company safety policies, and safe work practices.
Plan and oversee daily production and plant operations.
Establish and monitor KPIs, dashboards, visual management controls, and performance improvement initiatives.
Drive labor utilization, equipment uptime, housekeeping, 5S, and tour-ready facility standards.
Develop and maintain an auditable preventive maintenance program and critical spare-parts strategy.
Lead, coach, cross-train, and develop employees while building sustainable bench strength.
Determine staffing requirements and oversee employee scheduling, performance evaluations, and workforce accountability.
Partner with Human Resources, Finance, Logistics, Sales, and Marketing to support production and customer requirements.
Oversee shipping and receiving activities.
Manage plant financial performance, including budgets, costs, inventory, margins, and site EBITDA objectives.
Create a culture of integrity, urgency, responsibility, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Bring

At least 10 years of progressive manufacturing experience.
A minimum of 5 years in an operations leadership role.
A demonstrated record of leading manufacturing operations, achieving site KPIs, improving core processes, and implementing operational best practices.
Strong financial and accounting acumen, including experience with business plans, operational analytics, inventory, costs, and margins.
P&L oversight experience preferred.
Experience implementing Preventive Maintenance programs (like MaintainX) and managing spare-parts organization.
Experience with 5S, housekeeping programs, and maintaining a tour-ready facility.
The ability to make data-driven decisions and convert strategic priorities into practical, measurable actions.
Strong communication, meeting facilitation, team building, and employee-development skills.
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
