Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience processing payroll, preferably within the Home Health Aide (HHA) industry, and be comfortable working with multiple payroll systems. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage sensitive information with accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

Process weekly payroll accurately and on time for all HHA employees
Review and validate timesheets, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
Manage payroll adjustments, including bonuses, deductions, and reimbursements
Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data integrity
Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries in a timely manner
Collaborate with HR and accounting teams on payroll-related matters
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2+ years of payroll processing experience
Prior experience with HHA (Home Health Aide) payroll is strongly preferred
Proficiency in payroll systems such as Paychex, ADP, and HHAX timekeeping systems
Strong Excel skills (e.g., data entry, formulas, reconciliation)
Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese required
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills

Soft Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills
High level of attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in healthcare or home care environments

Salary Range:

· $22 – 25/hour

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
