Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to oversee our automotive service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto service management, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to lead a team of technicians. This role is crucial in ensuring that our customers receive top-notch service while maintaining operational efficiency within the department.

Duties

Manage daily operations of the service department, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Supervise and train service technicians, providing guidance on automotive diagnostics and repair.
Oversee customer interactions, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns.
Implement upselling strategies to enhance service offerings and increase revenue.
Maintain accurate records of services performed, including auto estimating and service writing.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve customer experience.
Monitor inventory levels for parts and supplies needed for vehicle maintenance and repair.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.

Skills

Dealership experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of automotive service processes.
Proficient in auto service management with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Strong upselling abilities to promote additional services effectively.
Mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs, including transmissions, oil changes, brake repairs, alignment, suspension, tire service, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, and auto body repair.
Experience as a service technician is advantageous.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
Knowledge of automobile sales processes is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks efficiently. Join our team as a Service Manager and play a key role in delivering exceptional automotive services while leading a talented team of professionals.
