Full-Time RN Weekend Supervisor - 12 Hours $42 - $47

This position will be responsible for working 12 hours per day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday on dayshift. 7A - 7P

About Us:

Maple Lawn Nursing Home is a 110- bed skilled nursing facility, where we pride ourself on delivering excellent care in a "home away from home," safe, secure environment for those in need of medical, rehabilitation, or specialized cognitive care and services.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Weekend RN Nurse Supervisor to join our nursing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of nursing practices, and the ability to manage patient care efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring high standards of nursing care are maintained while fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.

Duties

Supervise and support nursing staff in providing high -quality care to residents.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies.
Conduct physical examinations and assess patient health status to provide appropriate care.
Manage staffing levels on the weekends and assignments to ensure adequate coverage.
Manage emergency medicine situations effectively, providing guidance and support during critical incidents.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation and reports
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality of care
Implement infection control protocols and ensure adherence by all nursing staff.
Foster team management by encouraging communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution among staff members.

Requirements

Current RN license with relevant certifications.
Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of physical examinations, infection control measures, emergency medicine protocols, and airway management techniques.
Assist with treatment and medication administration
Serve as a liaison between family, patient, doctor, and other departments
Previous work experience in a nursing home or similar environment is desirable.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and staff.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Take on-call hours one day a week and contribute to a holiday rotation call schedule
